Resolutions for 2009

Make 1,000 friends on Facebook (I’m about halfway there), and make new real friends also
Find a new type of lunch sandwich to add to my lunch sandwich rotation
Invest in the stock market again…and make money
Crash some random person's party just for the fun of it
Stay connected to my friends in New York
Find activities besides work and blogging to get involved in in D.C.

I like your lunch resolution--what sandwiches are already in there? I may have some good ideas.

Also, if you're interested in heading down to 6th and I let me know. They have stuff Friday nights and also some other activities.

Sandwiches include the usual assortment of cheese, tuna salad, PB&J, veggie burgers and chummus.

Once it gets warmer out I'm definitely up for checking out 6th & I for a Friday night service, and if you're going to go to other activities definitely let me know!

What were your resolutions?

Hmm--

Sandwich-wise, are you a lunchmeat kind of a person, or do you prefer to go kosher/dairy?

Meat: Turkey with mustard on whole wheat. Turkey-bacon BLT.

Non lunchmeat: Egg salad or fried eggs with tomato on rye. Lox, whipped cream cheese, and green olives on a good, sturdy bread. "Tuna" salad, but made with canned salmon instead.

Excellent resolutions. Actually, I think the Facebook one is a waste of time but the 'new sandwich' one is superb. I recommend the bread machine as the clear way forward.
